Bio

Antonia Lassar is a comedian, actor, writer, and stone cold hot person. Her work focuses on using comedy as a tool for education and social change. Think Lisa Kudrow meets D’Arcy Carden meets Sarah matriarch of the Jews.

Antonia has been touring her comedy internationally for the last 10 years. Some of her favorite venues have been Yale University, the New Repertory Theatre in Massachusetts, the Edmonton Fringe, and the 50+ living rooms that she’s performed in around the world.

You can catch Antonia being a big deal star on her iconic TikTok or with UCB’s Character’s Welcome team.

Antonia has garnered attention for her three solo shows: God Box (a comedy about interfaith conflict), Post Traumatic Super Delightful (a half-clown/half docu-drama examination of the sexual assault crisis on college campuses), and The Forest (a silent clown show about the Tree in the back of the school play). Marie Claire Magazine called Antonia “your new hero” for the work she does to educate about sexual violence on college campuses with Post Traumatic Super Delightful. Additionally, she has delivered keynote addresses for the Minnesota Associate for Sexual Abusers and the Florida Coalition Against Sexual Violence, as well as headlining the 2018 National March Against Rape Culture in Washington DC.

Antonia also teaches classes around the country on how to use art for activism, and has worked with all ages from elementary to college grads, notably teaching workshops at Yale, UC Berkely, Middlebury, and Brandeis among others. She was also a mentor for Glamour Magazine’s Top Ten College Women Program.

Antonia graduated with a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University, with additional training from the University of Cape Town’s drama school. She has trained as a clown with Jean E. Taylor at the Barrow Group, as a comedian at UCB, and as an actor with Scott Freeman of the Freeman Studio.

You can catch Antonia performing all over tiktok. Her muse is gastrointestinal distress.
